Sayid gets a boot in the face from Ilana

Sayid and Ilana have gone up to a room in a hotel where they are passionately kissing. She lays on the bed and asks him to remove her boot. When he starts to remove it, she kicks him in the face twice and then elbows him in the head before pulling a gun on him. She tells Sayid that she was hired to bring him to Guam by the family of Peter Avellino, the man Sayid killed on the golf course in the season 4 episode "The Economist." She tells Sayid that "You are going to answer for what you have done."

So it's interesting that Sayid ended up on Ajira 316 because of the murders he committed for Ben during his time off the island. Ilana ended up in 2007 and Sayid ended up in 1977. She didn't get to bring him to justice after all, if that was really her plan.
