This is just a funny, disorienting Lost moment. The first thing Frank sees when he gets to the top on hill is a cow. I assume this is Mikhail's cow, but there could be more cows on the island we don't know about.

Here's the TV report that Frank Lapidus sees in The Bahamas. We see a picture of the pilot who we only saw in the pilot, Seth Norris. Also you see the remains of someone who is being passed off as the pilot.

Meet Frank Lapidus

Here's Frank Lapidus, the pilot. Apparently, he was supposed to be flying 815 on that fateful day in 2004. When we first see him, he's in Eleuthera, The Bahamas. He's at Caribbean Dreams: Island Travels and Tours. Also included is a shot of the plane in the fish tank.

Here's the newspaper that Charlotte reads about flight 815 being found. I'll translate the front page best I can with a free translator (I think it's in French). I can't make out the date or parts of the text. If anyone can figure it out, let me know.

815: Retrouvé! = 815: Found!

mobilisation des ??????? = mobilization of ?????? (can't make out the rest of the text)
