Roger Linus taunts Sayid, gets angry at Ben

As Sayid is lying in his cell, Roger Linus (Ben's father who we saw in season 3) comes in to mop the floor. Roger goes over to the cell's bars and starts to taunt Sayid saying that he doesn't know how he got caught because the hostiles are supposed to be the "kings of the jungle." He continues saying "How dumb are you that you got captured by these idiots." Sayid calmly replies "And yet you're the one who mops up after them." That pisses Roger off and he says "We'll see how cute you are once Oldham gets done with you." At that moment Ben comes in the door with another sandwich for Sayid. He stops cold when he sees his father. Ben lies and says that he was bringing the sandwich for his father. Roger grabs Ben by the arm and pushes him against the bars. Sayid jumps up and almost starts to defend Ben. Ben confesses that he made the sandwich for Sayid and Roger sends him home. Roger tosses the contents of the tray on the floor and leaves the room.

Sayid is obviously feels bad for what he sees Ben go through. Even though he despises Ben, he doesn't want to see this young boy manhandled and berated by his father.
