Hurley gets pulled over by Ana Lucia

As Hurley is driving away with Sayid unconscious in the passenger seat, he tries to buckle Sayid's seatbelt which causes some erratic swerving on the road. He gets pulled over by a cop that turns out to be the very dead Ana Lucia.

It turns out Ana Lucia is there to give Hurley some tips on how avoid the police and further trouble. She asks him a series of questions and gives him some tips. Here's what she says.

• Why did you pull over?
• What if I were real?
• What if a real cop stopped you?
• You need to pull it together.
• You've got a lot of work to do.
• You need new clothes.
• You need to go to a safe place and take Sayid to someone you trust.
• Stay away from cops.
• Do not get arrested.

Ana Lucia closes with a very flippant, "Oh yeah, Libby says hi." After she walks away, Hurley looks behind him to see an empty space and followed by a truck.

It's still unclear why Hurley is able to see the dead. Also, what work does Hurley have to do? Like it did early in season 4, it seems that Hurley will play a big part in the stories that lie ahead.
