Jin sees photos of Ji Yeon for the first time

At the building housing Room 23 on Hydra Island, Charles Widmore admonishes Zoe for not following the timeline of their plan and taking Jin too soon. She replies that she should have put a mercenary in charge then instead of a geophysicist. He then asks her to go get "the package" from the submarine and take it to the infirmary.

Widmore apologizes to Jin for taking him from the other island. He then gives Jin a digital camera that he says they found on the Ajira plane in Sun's luggage. Jin looks through the pictures on the camera which are of his daughter Ji Yeon with Sun. He has never seen his daughter before this moment, so he's obviously quite emotional. Widmore tells Jin that he has a daughter to and he knows what it's like to be kept apart from her.

Widmore explains to Jin that if the thing that looks like John Locke is allowed to leave the island, that everyone that they care about will cease to be. He asks Jin to come with him so he can show him "the package," which is a who, not a thing.

Sun talks to Ji Yeon, threatens to shoot Ben

Sun is sitting in her car where we last saw her in episode 4 "The Little Prince." She receives a call from her mother Mrs. Paik (we've never learned her first name) who asks when she is coming home and tells her that Ji Yeon wants to talk to her. Sun tells Ji Yeon that she will be home soon and that she's found a new friend for her in America, Aaron.

Sun then proceeds to get out of the car with the gun she received under the chocolates and proceeds towards Ben. She holds the gun on him as Ben says "I didn't kill your husband Sun... and neither did anyone else because he's not dead." He then tells her that he can prove Jin is alive. Sun's eyes begin to tear up.

Kate and Sun discuss the kids, serious matters

After Sun calls Kate, they meet in Sun's room on the top floor of a hotel. Sun is apparently only in town for a few days to tend to some business. What exactly is this business in Los Angeles? Is it connected with her conversation with Charles Widmore?

Kate looks at a picture of Sun's girl Ji Yeon before the conversation turns to Kate and Aaron. Kate tells Sun about the two men that came to her home and Sun wisely tells her that if someone wanted to expose their lie, they would do it. They would not be secretive about it. Sun believes that these people want Aaron. This again poses the question of who are these outside forces that don't seem to be directly connected to Ben Linus or Charles Widmore? Maybe they are connected but the connection is not yet obvious. Is there a third group interested in the island?

Sun and Jin's baby, Ji Yeon

Here's Sun and Jin's baby, Ji Yeon. The young girl and her mother escaped an inevitable island death, but dad may not have been so lucky.

Meet Kevin Johnson

Meet Kevin Johnson. Wait, that's the next episode. It seems we get to meet him early and it turns out that Kevin Johnson is none other than Michael Dawson. It seems he's working as a janitor aboard the freighter. How did he get there and what's happened since he sailed away at the end of Season 2? I think we'll find out more on Thursday.

Blood from gun shot on the freighter

The blood stain on the wall inside the freighter proves there has been more death than Regina, Minkowski and Naomi on the freighter crew's mission. The stain is obviously from a gun shot, but did the person commit suicide or were they shot? Also, WHO died in that room? The blood spatter certainly looks pretty fresh.

Faux Flight 815 black box

Here's the black box from the fake Flight 815 that was found at the bottom of the ocean. Captain Gault shows it to Sayid and Desmond with a series of questions about who would have the resources to stage a fake flight including having access to 324 dead bodies. Gault makes a damn good point.

Also, notice in the second shot, notice the maps behind Gault. They're out of focus, but appear to be of areas in the Pacific, possibly even the island.

Meet Captain Gault + freighter extras

We meet finally meet Captain Gault. He's very open with Sayid and Desmond, disclosing that Charles Widmore owns the boat and shows them the fake Flight 815 black box. He seems pretty straightforward, so why is not to be trusted?

Also included is a shot of two freighter extras.

Regina jumps off the freighter

Regina jumped off the freighter with chains wrapped around her. What led her to commit suicide?

Bernard and Jin talk about married life

Bernard makes his second appearance this season in "Ji Yeon." He and Jin have a talk about married life while fishing in the outrigger.

Kate's map to the barracks

Here's the map Kate draws to the barracks. It's definitely one of the crudest maps we've seen on the show, yet it would've probably been quite effective.

Jin's cell phone

Besides Jin's general appearance, Jin's cell phone was the first big tip that his half of the story was a flashback. The phone is very 90s.

Dr. Bae and the guy that's not Jin

Here's Sun's doctor when she gives birth, Dr. Bae. Also, here's the guy that Sun calls for while she's giving birth. She's screams for Jin, but it's obviously not him.

Sun's ring and necklace

Here's Sun's jewelry including her wedding ring and a necklace

"DON'T TRUST THE CAPTAIN" note

Here's the note that "someone" slips through the sickbay door to Sayid and Desmond. It's a warning that says, "DON'T TRUST THE CAPTAIN."

Sun in the future, very pregnant

We see Sun in the future, just before she's going to give birth. I've also included a shot of the toothpaste we see in the beginning of the scene, just for the heck of it.

The toy store and clerk

Here is the toy store where Jin buys not one, but two pandas. I've included a shot of the store clerk as well as a shot of the exterior shot before he goes into the toy store.

Exposé on Sun's TV

It looks like there was a fun little easter egg hidden on the TV in Sun's room. It looks like she had Exposé on the TV, dubbed in Korean. In the screen shot, it looks like Nikki is on the right.

Meet Regina + her book

We finally get to put a face to the voice in this episode. We meet Regina who had talked to the freighter crew on the island via satellite phone. She seems very confused and disoriented when Frank approached her. I've included the book she was "reading" upside-down. It's The Survivors of the Chancellor by Jules Verne - a story about the final voyage of a ship at sea.
