Locke visits Kate next. We don't see the initial approach or Locke's pitch. The first thing we see is Kate saying no. She then is rather cruel to Locke saying that he wants to go back because he's never loved anyone. Locke tells her that he loved Helen, but it didn't work out because he was "angry" and "obsessed." It seems pretty painful for Locke to admit hi was obsessed. Kate sticks a knife in him by saying "Look how far you've come."
Outside Kate's house with Matthew Abbadon, Locke is a bit worked up about his conversation with Kate a asks Abbadon if he has found Helen. Abbadon claims that he can't find her, but Locke doesn't buy it. He says that he needs to find her and that's where they go next.
