Jin shoots Mikhail in the eye + Sun is shot & pregnant + Sayid half-helps Jin escape the freezer

At Keamy's restaurant, Jin hears Sayid shooting Keamy and his men. Sayid enters starts to leave him there because Jin can't explain who he is. Jin begs for him to free him by repeating the word "free." Sayid puts the cutter from shelf in Jin's hands and tells him "Good luck," leaving Jin to free himself.

Mikhail arrives at the restaurant with Sun and finds the bodies on the kitchen floor. He doesn't realize that Jin is playing possum (pretending to be dead) on the floor. When Mikhail leans down to Keamy who is not dead, Jin stands and holds a gun to Mikhail's head.

Jin tells Sun to move back. Mikhail then attacks Jin and two wild shots are fired during the struggle. Mikhail breaks free and grabs a knife, but Jin shoots him in the eye, the same eye he was missing when he was on the island.

Jin then realizes that Sun has been shot in the abdomen. As he starts to carry her to get help, Sun reveals that she is pregnant. Could this be baby Ji Yeon and if so, will she survive this incident? Also, if the baby is Jin's, how is it that he's not infertile since he hasn't been to the island?

Sayid takes Jin's gun, shoots Ben

Ben unlocks Sayid's cell and they both flee the security building. We see them running through the jungle and make their way to a road/path where a Dharma van approaches. Sayid tells Ben to hide. The vans stops and Jin gets out and approahces Sayid. Sayid lies and tells Jin that Sawyer let him go because they were going to kill him. At that point, Phil's voice comes over the walkie saying that the prisoner escaped. Jin tells Sayid to let him talk to Sawyer before he lets him go. Sayid throws Jin on the ground and knocks him out with a blow to the face. Ben is impressed by Sayid's moves and doesn't see him take Jin's gun. Sayid says "You were right about me. I am a killer" referring to their converstation in Santo Domingo. Sayid then shoots Ben once in the chest. Ben falls to the ground and Sayid quietly weeps and then runs off down the path.

This scene leaves Ben's future in question, but we'll learn in the next episode "Whatever Happened, Happened" that Sayid can't choose to change the course of the future because whatever happened, happened.

Sayid kills a man in front of Santa Rosa

There's a man sitting in a car in front Santa Rosa Mental Institute keeping an eye on Hurley. Sayid approaches the car and asks the time, which happens to be 8:15 (two of the numbers). He then shoots the man and heads inside Santa Rosa.

Sayid kills Bakir, Ben smirks

Ishmael Bakir corners Ben in an alley, then Sayid shoots him many, many times. Sayid then asks who's next. He's now out for revenge for Nadia's death. It would seem from Ben's smirk as he walks away, that Sayid's commitment to the cause was his plan all along.

Keamy kills Alex, Ben is stunned

Keamy threatens to kill Alex and Ben calls his bluff. The problem is, Keamy wasn't bluffing. Alex's death is the most cold blooded death we've seen so far on the show. Ben's response is "he changed the rules." What are the rules and why are they in place? Also, why did he (Charles Widmore) change the rules?

Danielle Rousseau and Karl get shot

Here's Danielle Rousseau and Karl getting shot on their way to the temple. The question is, who shot them and why? Also, Karl is dead, but is Rousseau? What will happen to Alex?
