Hurley and Ben share candy, Locke get his orders

In a great comical/nice scene with no dialogue, Hurley shares his Apollo Bar with Ben. The mood shifts as Locke emerges from Jacob's cabin with his orders. He says, "He wants us to move the island."

Locke, Ben and Hurley find Jacob's cabin

With help of Horace's map, Locke, Ben and Hurley find Jacob's cabin. Ben does not go in because he says the island wanted him to get sick and for John to get well. He then says, "My time is over John. It's yours now." Hurley decides to stay outside as well. Locke then lights a lantern and enters the cabin.

The next post will be the exhilarating happenings inside the cabin.

Frank gives the beach camp a trail to follow

Frank packs up a satellite phone with a GPS locator activated before the helicopter takes off. He puts in in a pack and drops it as the helicopter flies over the beach camp. There are two signals on the GPS unit. One is the sat phone that Jack has (the red triangle) and the other is on the chopper (the yellow dot), possibly Keamy's sat phone. Jack thinks that the chopper wants them to follow it.

Keamy kills Dr. Ray and Captain Gault

When Frank says he's not going to fly Keamy and his team back to the island, Keamy, in another act of brutal violence, slits Dr. Ray's neck and throws him overboard. Captain Gault shows up firing a gun in the air and tells Keamy to stand down. Keamy points out the device on his arm, Gault turns to ask "What's that on his arm?." Keamy then shoots Captain Gault. Frank then agrees to fly the helicopter back to the island.

In the end, Captain Gault died a hero. He didn't seem to accomplish much, but he did help Sayid leave the freighter.

Keamy's team loads up on firepower

Keamy's team loads up up the helicopter with a lot of weapons so they can attack the island. This is some serious firepower. How much damage do they plan to do?

Locke meets Abbadon in rehabilitation

While John Locke is in rehabilitation after Anthony Cooper pushes him out of the window, he meets a shockingly philosophical orderly, but he's more than just an orderly. Matthew Abbadon is revealed to be pushing John in his wheelchair. Abbadon tells him that surviving an 8-story fall is a miracle and he should go on a walkabout to learn who he truly is. Abbadon tells Locke that when they meet again that he'll "owe him one."

What miracle happened to Matthew Abbadon? What exactly are his ties to the island, because they seem stronger than ever? What did he find out he was after his walkabout?

Sayid heads back to the island in the Zodiac raft

With Captain Gault's help, Sayid heads back to the island in the Zodiac raft hoping to ferry people back to the freighter. Desmond stays behind, saying that he's been on the island for three years and never plans to set foot on it again. Gault tells him to make sure he stays a compass bearing of 305, just like the helicopter.

Keamy's device strapped to his body

Keamy is seen on the freighter having a device strapped to his arm by Omar. What exactly is this device and what does it do and why should the rest of the crew be afraid of it?

The prop itself has been identified as a Korg MA-30 metronome. It has been painted and modified in other ways to look like something more hi-tech and dangerous.

Keamy also has a heart rate monitor on his chest. Why?

Teenage Locke gets offer to attend Mittelos summer camp

16-year old John Locke gets beaten up and stuffed into a locker at his high school. The school's team is the http://www.blogger.com/img/gl.link.gifCowin Heights Knights. His science teacher, Gellert, helps him out of the locker and they go to his office to talk. Before he closes the locker door we can see the Geronimo Jackson album cover as well as a photo of Sir Richard Francis Burton, an English explorer, translator, writer, soldier, orientalist, ethnologist, linguist, poet, hypnotist, fencer and diplomat (for more info, check out the wiki page).

Gellert tells John that Mittelos Bioscience is interested in him coming to their summer camp. He gives John a brochure but John doesn't want to go. He says that things like science camp is why he gets stuffed in lockers. When Gellert tells him he'll never be a superhero, John replies with his catch phrase, "Don't tell me what I can't do!."

Why did Mittelos want John to come to his camp? Was this another test to see if he was ready for his destiny?

Keamy's secondary protocol has Dharma logo

Keamy takes a key from around Captain Gault's neck to access a safe in his office. It contains a secondary protocol which tells them where Ben is heading. Charles Widmore apparently knows where Ben would go, so now Keamy does too.

The most interesting thing about the secondary protocol is that there is a Dharma logo on the front. It's the same logo that was on Ben's Dharka in "The Shape of Things To Come." This is quite possibly the Orchid logo.

Widmore seems to know a lot about the island, but what is his connection with the Dharma Initiative?

Locke finds Horace & map, blueprints for Jacob's cabin

Locke finds Horace's body among the dead in the mass grave. He finds a map to Jacob's cabin as well as blueprints for it. It appears that Horace built Jacob's cabin. How important will Horace end up being to the overall mythology of the show?
