Locke and Ben return to the Dharma mass grave, Hurley sees it for first time

After Horace tells Locke to find him in his dream/vision, Locke goes to the Dharma mass grave to find him. Hurley sees the grave for the first time and is noticeably disturbed. Again we see some of the bodies in the grave including the generic Dharma logo on one of the jumpsuits as well as the skull with the bullet hole.

Richard Alpert returns, checks out baby Locke

Here, we see Emily Locke, her mother and the nurse standing next to baby John Locke. The nurse tells them that he is being referred to by the other nurses as the "miracle baby" due to his being the youngest premature baby to survive at the hospital. He also had infections and pneumonia and fought them off. Before she can hold John, Emily runs out of the room saying, "I can't do this." Emily's mother asks about adoption as she starts to light a cigarette before being told by the nurse that she can't smoke there.

Then comes the best part of the scene. Richard Alpert returns for the first time since season 3 (Cane was good but I'm glad it's gone so Nestor Carbonell could return to Lost). He appears at the window looking in on baby Locke. The nurse asks Emily's mother if he's the father and she says she's doesn't know who he is. Again, Richard Alpert appears to be the same age as every other appearance, even though it's the 1950s this time.

Why was Alpert watching Locke and how did he seem to know that Locke was special from his birth?

Locke's vision/dream of Horace

Locke has another dream/vision in "Cabin Fever." This time, he meets Horace Goodspeed of the Dharma Intiative (he was first seen in Ben's flashback last season in the episode, "The Man Behind the Curtain"). He is chopping trees down to build a cabin for himself and his wife, Olivia. He cuts down a tree, then it reappears needing to be cut down again. This is a reference to The Myth of Sisyphus (click the link for more info). It's like Horace is stuck on a loop, doomed to repeat the same task over and over again. At the end of each loop, Horace's nose bleeds.

Horace tells Locke "You gotta find me John...and when you do, you'll find him (Jacob)." He then says "He's been waitin' for you a real long time man."

Also, the Dharma logo on his jumpsuit is for the Arrow station.

Michael is finally back, still can't die

So we finally see Michael again for the first time since "Meet Kevin Johnson." He's handcuffed to a pipe on the freighter. Keamy questions Michael asking if he knows who he is and did you tell Ben about me. He answers honestly and Keamy then attempts to shoot Michael in the head. Surprise! Once again, the gun doesn't work and Michael's life is spared again. Apparently Michael's work is not done.

Freighter crew injured by smoke monster, Dr. Ray alive

Here we see the damage that the smoke monster did to one of the freighter mercenary guys. He later dies from his injuries.

Also, here we see Doctor Ray, alive and well on the freighter, at least at this point in the episode.
