Ben causes an explosion in the vault

After seeing Ben load as much metal as he can into the vault, he finally turns it on, causing a contained explosion. He and Locke duck behind a desk for cover. The scene ends with Ben saying, "I'd better change."

Inside the Orchid, loading the vault with metal

Ben and Locke finally go down the elevator to the Orchid. The station is burying deep underground next to a pocket of negative exotic matter mentioned in the orientation video. In the Orchid, we see the cages that the rabbits were kept in for the experiments as well as various other controls and tools to send the bunnies through time and space. Ben loads the vault full of metal objects against the instructions given in the orientation video.
