Locke sees the Nigerian beachcraft, gets shot by Ethan

As Locke wanders the island, he reaches the top of a hill to see the yellow Nigerian beachcraft carrying Mr. Eko's brother and the drug runners crash on the island. He picks up one of the Virgin Mary statues then heads towards the plane. He calls up to the plane then attempts to climb up and see the people inside, but he is shot once again and falls to the ground. It turns out that he was shot by Ethan Rom (the other killed by Charlie in season 1). Just before Ethan shoots him, the island skips in time again, this time going forward. It is also night after the skip.

Two men show up for Kate and Aaron's blood sample

Two men from the law firm of Agostini & Norton show up at Kate's door claiming to have a court order for a blood sample from Kate and Aaron to prove whether or not they're related. They do not reveal the name of their client, but this pushes Kate into old habits. She packs up and goes on the run again.

The actor playing Aaron in the third screen capture looks very different than the one in the close-ups. Maybe it's just a continuity problem with his hair, but they may have used a different actor because kids can only work a certain number of hours a day.

I've also included a capture of the photo of Jack and Aaron on the desk near Kate's front door. It seems weird that she would keep that visible when she is upset with Jack.

The beach camp disappears

After the island moves back in time the beach camp disappears because it hasn't been built yet. Here we see the remaining survivors, freighter folk and Juliet checking things out.

Neil Frogurt was on the zodiac raft, who knew?

I guess since characters on the island in the survivors camp was running thin so the producers brought Neil Frogurt forward. Prior to "Because You Left," the only time we'd actually seen Frogurt was in the mobisode "The Adventues of Hurley and Frogurt" prior to season 4.

Much like Leslie Arzt, Neil was annoying and didn't last long, but more on that later. As it turns out, he was on the zodiac raft with Daniel when the island moved so he went with it.

Locke is alone after island moves

We quickly learn what happened to the island dwellers immediately after the island moved. Here we see John Locke is left alone in the jungle. Richard Alpert and the other others are gone when the island moves backwards in time.
