Daniel's cheat sheet for Frank - helicopter controls/meters
Here's Daniel's "cheat sheet" (as Frank calls is) with the direction Frank should follow to get back to the freighter. I've also included some shots of the controls/meters in the helicopter including the dial that slips just over 31 as Frank flies into the thunder head. After it slips above 31, Desmond starts experiencing the "side effects."

Sawyer's book - The Invention of Morel
Here's the book Sawyer was reading when Kate came in. It's The Invention of Morel by Adolfo Bioy Casares. This version of the cover is the 2003 English edition. Here's the plot summary from the wikipedia page.
A fugitive hides on a deserted island somewhere in Polynesia. Tourists arrive, and his fear of being discovered becomes a mixed emotion when he falls in love with one of them. He wants to tell her his feelings, but an anomalous phenomenon keeps them apart.
Sounds a bit familiar, no?

Jack testifies for Kate
Jack shows up in another flash forward to testify at Kate's trial. During his testimony, we learn a little about the story that the Oceanic 6 are telling the public including that 8 people survived the crash, the marshal died in the crash and that Kate saved the day by giving first aid and finding water and food. If 8 people survived, why is there only the Oceanic 6? Interesting, no?
